A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has gone beyond more than one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas.
